Dr. Patricia Baines grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She is an Emergency Medicine Physician who has spent over two decades as a physician educator and mentor in the USA, Jamaica, New Zealand, and Australia.
Baines's first book Seven Days, The Journey Home, is a book centered on the relationship between herself and her nephew during unforeseen life-changing circumstances. It takes you on an emotionally filled journey through a 360-degree view of an Aunt's love.
Her latest writing, Making Heart "Rounds" is also centered on relationships but of a different kind. It is through the lens of an Emergency Medicine Physician as she meets her patients where they are physically, emotionally, and in need of medical care. The encounters are personal stories from her patients, their family, and friends. These heartwarming stories on the joys and lessons of a long relationship will be thought-provoking and give you pause to ponder your own thoughts on longevity.
